Back to Crafting

Well I'm back into crafting again after what has been a really horrible time, thank you to those who left comments I do appreciate it. My Mojo up and went away; I thought for good but last week I managed to settle in my craft room long enough to make this card, after not crafting for almost a month I was certainly out of practice and threw lots of attempts in the bin!!!! (lol); eventually coming up with this card, which I am really pleased with and using my all time favourite stamp set Winter Post; I just love it :-) . I also used the fabulous new DSPaper Bella Bleu - yes I managed to cut into it but have also stroked it a lot!!!!!! and the New Eyelet Border Punch which is so lovely. Hope you like it.
After I had made the card I went over and checked out some challenge blogs and have entered this card in the Tanda Challenge "Winter Sport".

Reindeer All in A Row

Hellooooooo
I know it has been ages since my last proper post - sorry!! I could tell you my life history as events have happened over the past few months - but I won't - just to say Life has been Topsy Turvy and recently my Mom ( who is 88 in a few weeks; but don't tell anyone she'll kill me!!) has been unwell so I have been living between 2 houses with no time to craft and play with my new Stampin' Up goodies from the new catalogue!!
Mom's on the mend (hopefully) so today I have been playing;
Here is a Christmas card using colours from the Stamp with Us challenge. My Mojo wasn't flowing so the card came about by accident really, while stamping out the colours used in the challenge with the first stamp to hand, which happened to be the reindeer from the stamp set Winter Post (I love this set) I noticed they looked really cute all in a row. So I added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter for snow and on their antlers also within the dots of the New Eyelet Border Punch - just couldn't stop playing with the glitter but I am pleased with the way my card has turned out - you have to have glitter at Christmas - don't you?
Hope you like my creation too.

I will be back with some more creations using the Fab new products from Stampin' Up! very soon :-()

Here is my card for the Stamp with Us Challenge this weeks theme Christmas.

I Have used my 2 favourite Christmas Stamp Sets for this card, I use the flourish from Season of Joy all the time; not just for Christmas. I stamped image in Chocolate Chip to give a more subtle effect and coloured in the windows to give the image life. I then added glue where I wanted snow and sprinkled Stampin' Glitter ( I love this product). I seem to be into tearing at the moment so watch this space!! lol. Hope you like it.

Birthdays Galore continued

Pheweeee how hot has it been this week, between watching Wimbledon and the heat no projects completed for me my hands were so hot I was leaving marks on the card - not a look I wanted lol ;-( Moving quickly on;
This morning was a lot cooler so I got cracking. I am still on my quest; Birthday cards just a Little bit different from the norm; I have several 60th Birthdays coming up (not Me!) so I have used this weeks sketch challenge over on StampwithUs for one of the 60th Birthday cards and made the opening gatefold, added a bit of bling (dazzling diamonds) and have kept to just two colours. Hope you like my take on this weeks sketch. I have used Certainly Celery for a clean fresh look. Stazon was used to stamp Happy Birthday onto the ribbon and I frayed two ends, 60 was cut from DSP on my Big Shot and I glued this to heavy card mounted with dimensionals.

Recipe for Card all Stampin' Up!
Card - Whisper White / Certainly Celery
Designer Paper Certainly Celery Prints (retired)
Stamps - Doodle That / Occasional Greetings
