Stamp with Us Receipe Challenge

When I saw this weeks challenge I decided to stay with bright colours, as I had been playing with Petal Party from the Simply Scrappin' Kits over the weekend making mini albums; and as the kit was still spread all over my desk (lol) I thought I would use it for this challenge.

The Kits include 12 x 12 Textured Card in 4 colours (2 of each), 3 sheets 12 x 12 DSP and sheets of self adhesive die cuts. I placed one of the tags onto card and cut around then used the Spiral Punch on the edge to give the effect of a page torn from note book, the flower pieces are also mounted onto card and cut out and layered using Dimensionals - foam dots. I inked the edges of the paper with Old Olive and attached two ribbons Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie with staples to the tag.

Hope you like it.

Stamp With Us Colour Challenge

My card for last weeks challenge made Stamp with Us top 5 - Woweeeeee a lovely surprise - Thank you

Now for this weeks Stamp with Us colour challenge.

This challenge really was a challenge for me and has taken me out of my comfort zone - bright colours - all together - help!! Any way after much thought and placing papers together (sleepless nights; mess all over craft room; - LOL) I came up with this design - hope you like it. I used Loads of Love Stamp Set; why did I wait so long to get this set loved it all along but have only just bought it; (sorry rambling again) which I watercoloured with the ink pads for the Pick Up Truck and the Flowers in the back of the truck, after stamping In Real Red and So Saffron. The flowers on the greeting are from my stash but the colours went perfectly; I added brads to the flowers from Rich Regals for the green element which was in the picture (above). Surprisingly once I had decided which papers this card was really quick to put together and I am pleased with the overall effect.

Stamp Set - Loads of Love; Designer Papers - Washington Apple (New Mini Cat.); Inks - Pumpkin Pie ;Certainly Celery; So Saffron; Brads - Rich Regals; Ribbon Rich Red ; All Stampin' Up!

Sketch Challenge - Stamp With Us

This weeks challenge on Stamp with Us blog is a Sketch Challenge and I knew straight away I was going to use Sense of Time stamp set from the new Mini Catalogue. I wanted vintage so I distressed the card stock with Chocolate Chip and also embossed with Gold on the clock face and the small cog stamp ( this is not showing up in photo very well). I was pleased with the result; would make a great retirement card or certain big Birthdays. Sorry photo not so good the embossing really stands out in real life! lol.
