Scooby Doo Christmas Card

My Grandson is crazy about Scooby Doo and I just couldn't resist these stamps when I saw them way back in the summer - decided to make him a side step card which are popular at the moment so I could use all the images and his favourite colour is red, throw in a little glitter and scooby dooby doo here is the card.

I used Stampin' Up Card in Whisper White and Real Red, DSP Merry Moments; Stampin' write markers in Old Olive, Real Red and Really Rust; Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

I'm pleased with the result can't wait to see his face when I give it too him after we have seen his school play on Wednesday - have tissues at the ready!

Bye for now

Christmas is coming HO! HO! HO!

Quick post from me today as rushing around like luny trying to get things done. Yesterday while putting up decorations , wrapping pressies, and shopping!! I took time to take this years xmas photo of my beautiful Golden Retriever Meg, she is 12yrs old (13 in March) and has had soooooo many health problems over the last 2 years, the last one 4 weeks ago when she had a tumor removed from her face, she is ok again now but she is such a good patient the vets are amazed at her (just to say I think we own the surgery now though!!!) but she's worth it. Hope you like piccy - she really was not amused but goes along with everything in her laid back way- Love her to bits.

Megs thoughts - Oh no not that time of year again!

Smile for the Camera-hope I get Biscuit soon!!

Hope this brings a smile into some of the chaos we are all experiencing at the moment, better get off now and finish decorations and tidy up, then wrap some more presents - hope I've got everything :-(

Bye for now

3 Steps to Christmas

Oh My! these titles are getting worse - sorry they just come to me when I start typing lol ;-()

This post is Spooky too - you will have to read on to find out why!!

I have been playing around with step cards for a while and decided to make a Christmas themed one but fancied different colours to the norm. After searching through my DSP I came across Spiced Cider (retired now worst luck love it) and my choice of Stamp set was Season of Joy. Well I finished it yesterday and just didn't have time to post it. Now here's the spooky part - When I logged on there was a post from Sue over at Ink Spot for the Tanda Challenge and yes you have guessed it the challenge is a step card - well you could have knocked me down with a feather and the question I ask is "are we telepathic Sue"?! So I have just had to join in - would have been rude not too. Here is my creation.

Lovely as a 'Christmas' Tree

I took inspiration for this card from the Catalogue and Idea Book and turned it into a Christmas card. My idea was to take a stamp set that wasn't christmas and alter it!! I am pleased with the way it turned out and I demonstrated this card last night to the ladies from the NWR as in last post. I used glitter on the Fir Tree - card on right but thats not showing up on photo!

Ingredients
div>Card on right
Stamp Set Lovely as a Tree; Stamps used: pine cone and branch on main card; row of trees and fir tree
Card Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery Very Vanilla; Ink Old Olive, Chocolate Chip; Distressing Tool; Dazling Diamonds glitter
Card on left

Card Chocolate Chip, Old Olive,Very Vanilla; DSP Merry Moments; Distressing Tool

HO! HO! HO!

I am feeling festive - I met a lovely group of ladies (helloooo if you've popped by) last night from the local branch of the NWR who had invited me to Demonstrate, we had great fun making Christmas cards and we laughed a lot, tea and Stollen cake was served in the break; coupled with the Christmas songs that were playing on the radio yesterday as I preped for the demo has made me feel very festive. So I have given my blog a Christmas makeover and hung up the decorations!! lol. Will add some photo's later when I have more time.
