Reindeer All in A Row

Hellooooooo
I know it has been ages since my last proper post - sorry!! I could tell you my life history as events have happened over the past few months - but I won't - just to say Life has been Topsy Turvy and recently my Mom ( who is 88 in a few weeks; but don't tell anyone she'll kill me!!) has been unwell so I have been living between 2 houses with no time to craft and play with my new Stampin' Up goodies from the new catalogue!!
Mom's on the mend (hopefully) so today I have been playing;
Here is a Christmas card using colours from the Stamp with Us challenge. My Mojo wasn't flowing so the card came about by accident really, while stamping out the colours used in the challenge with the first stamp to hand, which happened to be the reindeer from the stamp set Winter Post (I love this set) I noticed they looked really cute all in a row. So I added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter for snow and on their antlers also within the dots of the New Eyelet Border Punch - just couldn't stop playing with the glitter but I am pleased with the way my card has turned out - you have to have glitter at Christmas - don't you?
Hope you like my creation too.

I will be back with some more creations using the Fab new products from Stampin' Up! very soon :-()

Birthdays Galore continued

Pheweeee how hot has it been this week, between watching Wimbledon and the heat no projects completed for me my hands were so hot I was leaving marks on the card - not a look I wanted lol ;-( Moving quickly on;
This morning was a lot cooler so I got cracking. I am still on my quest; Birthday cards just a Little bit different from the norm; I have several 60th Birthdays coming up (not Me!) so I have used this weeks sketch challenge over on StampwithUs for one of the 60th Birthday cards and made the opening gatefold, added a bit of bling (dazzling diamonds) and have kept to just two colours. Hope you like my take on this weeks sketch. I have used Certainly Celery for a clean fresh look. Stazon was used to stamp Happy Birthday onto the ribbon and I frayed two ends, 60 was cut from DSP on my Big Shot and I glued this to heavy card mounted with dimensionals.

Recipe for Card all Stampin' Up!

Stamps - Doodle That / Occasional Greetings
Ink- Certainly Celery / Black Stazon

Birthdays Galore

I seem to have birthdays galore over the next few weeks so thought I had better get cracking. I have decided to make different shaped cards and so got to searching in the old grey cells (not a pretty site) lol. I popped over to StampwithUs blog and decided to make one card to fit their challenge which is a Receipe Challenge this week; 4 Patterned Papers; 2Card Stock and no other embellishments (eeeek). So, decided to use Stampin' Up! Playful Petals Set; Tea Party Designer Papers, and for a different shape I cut a Zig Zag card in Whisper White. I stamped and Cut out the flowers in designer papers and 2nd choice card stock Certainly Celery. Three Papers were used on the card and the 4th paper was used to stamp on and cut out the flowers. The image above shows the Happy Birthday greeting, I also inked all the edges of the paper to give definition. I also stamped inside the card on the bottom edge with small stamp from the set.
