Stamp With Us Recipe Challenge #4

This weeks Challenge on Stamp with Us is a recipe challenge using; 2 papers, 1 ribbon, 4 brads. Well I have a busy week ahead preping for workshops and an even busier bank holiday weekend in store; so thought as I had some me time today I would get mine made.
All products SU; I have used my favourite of all time DSPapers Tea & Crumpets I love this paper so much I had to order another pack so I could just keep looking at it - omg it is soooooo gorgeous; the photo in the SU catalogue doesn't show all the distressing on the papers It wasn't till I opened the pack that I realized the papers were distressed - I just love it - sorry I'm rambling but is soooo lovely lol; I chose the stripped paper which has the most gorgeous destressed green on the other side which I used for the scallop circle; Card is Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip another fav colour combo of mine (chocolate again!) keeping the design simple and choosing to use chipboard for an added dimension which is coloured with Pretty in Pink Ink and stamped in Chocolate Chip. Brads added to body and then the gorgeous felt flower - I just love these too.

Stamp with Us Challenge 3

This is my card for the Colour Challenge over on Stamp with Us blog.
Wow I get to use my Favourite colour scheme for this challenge, yipee :-) have really enjoyed this challenge as I had put myself on a self imposed ban from using these colours :-( I just kept making everything in chocolate combo - who could blame me!
Stampin' Up! products were used.

Ingredients
Card stock Very Vanilla, Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip
Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon double stitched
Ink Close to Cocoa
Vellum
DSPaper
Stamps Spots Background, Best Yet,Playful Petal
Punches Scalloped Edge, Corner Rounder, 11/4 circle, Scalloped Circle, 1/16 punch
Ribbler

I put the velum through a ribbler and lightly inked with close to cocoa to look like paper case, then I mounted onto Chocolate Chip before assembling card.
I knew I wouldn't stop at one card made three in total will post others later!

Have been away so I missed the birthday challenge, but a yummy challenge to come back too.

Easter Card

This is the Easter Card I made for my grandson using the new Choo Choo stamp set from the New Mini Catalogue. I love this set and bought it with my grandson in mind as he loves trains.

I used bashful blue, certainly celery and very vanilla; Creamy caramel for the rabbits and the track using the Stampin' Up! wheel. Designer Paper Junior Team. Scallop Oval Punch and Oval punch were used for the greeting - Smoke from the train - and Easter Wishes in Bashful blue. The engine is stamped in ruby red, my grandsons favourite colour, and all engines have to be red! The Easter Egg stamp is one I already had in my stash and I used masking to arrange eggs in carriage. Really please how it turned out as I made it in double quick time (as always; lol) he loved it.
